Welcome to my first try at blogging. I have been influenced by several of the blogs in my Blogroll over the last few years. This will be my attempt to organize and publish some of my thoughts electronically, although I have journalled on occasion, mostly while on deployment with the U.S. Navy. I am first and foremost a sinner who has been saved by God’s truly amazing grace, something of which I am becoming more aware every day. Several of the blogs linked here do a much better job that I ever could pointing to the Cross and the Gospel; I encourage you to read them. I have been married to an incredible woman for over 11 years now; together we have been blessed with 4 (soon to be 5) children. When I’m not at home, I am a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, my profession for almost 12 years now. Although I am currently stationed in San Diego, CA, we will not likely stay for too long, as other duty stations await.
